We've meticulously designed our community to operate entirely off-grid, harnessing renewable energy sources.
By embracing self-sufficiency, we not only reduce our environmental footprint but also ensure resilience against power outages and rising utility costs.
Our residents enjoy independence from centralized energy systems, fostering a sustainable and eco-conscious lifestyle while promoting a sense of community empowerment.
POTABLE WATER
At Sanctuary Hill Country, water sustainability and purity is key. Our primary source of water is rainwater (with well-water as backup), collected both at the home level (roofs, pergolas etc) and from amenities, pavilions and pergolas.
All water collected is centrally stored in a potable water tank, eliminating the need for storage at individual homes.
Before distribution, water undergoes rigorous processing, including UV light or ozone treatment, ensuring purity for drinking, showers, and faucets. Water usage is metered.

We have multiple existing wells on site. Well-water undergoes additional treatment both before entering the centralized tank, guaranteeing the removal of any impurities and preparing it for drinking.

Water reuse
We've implemented a comprehensive water management system where all wastewater are collected at each home and sent to our communities’ wastewater treatment plant for processing.
Once treated to Archive standards, the grey water is redistributed back to homes for non-potable uses like toilets, irrigation, and water features.
This plan prevents the use of valuable potable, rainwater being used for flushing toilets.
